Synopsis

In the Wahrheit Empire—a place where magic and technology coexist—whispers of an approaching catastrophe called "the light" are stirring unrest among its people. In the capital, a delivery driver named Innumael Grauer scrapes by doing odd jobs to support himself and his sister. His coworker Leocadio Wöhler, a fresh-faced soldier, helps out with deliveries on his way to his first assignment. Neither realizes they're about to load a crate of illegal weapons meant for a crime syndicate. When the authorities discover the contraband, Innumael takes the fall and faces execution. His only chance of survival? The very criminals who framed him might need him alive. At the same time, Leocadio gets his first real mission: hunt down the "Headkeeper," the syndicate suspected of running weapons through the Empire. What unfolds is the story of two ordinary guys caught in something way bigger than themselves. Their journey across the Empire sets off a chain reaction that reshapes both their futures and the fate of the nation itself.
