The Bladebreakers have to split up when a new world championship tournament rolls around—even though they're the defending champs, they can't all compete on the same team. It puts their friendship on the line as each of them tries to prove they're the strongest Beyblader out there. Tyson, Max, Ray, Kai, and newcomer Daichi all want to keep winning, even if that means battling each other. Things get worse after the tournament ends, though. Boris shows up and takes over the BBA, rebranding it as BEGA—the Beyblade Entertainment Global Association. To stop BEGA from corrupting Beybladers everywhere, the Bladebreakers have to put their rivalry aside and come back together.
