Synopsis

Ryuta and his science club friends check out a museum exhibit about Thomas Edison, where they discover one of his wild ideas: a "spirit phone" designed to let people talk to the dead. That same day, they run into a shaman who says she's got a message from Edison himself. She passes some mysterious knowledge directly to Ryuta, giving him everything he needs to actually build the thing. So naturally, he decides to go ahead with it—and that's where things get weird.
