Synopsis

High school student Yuuko Yoshida wakes up one day with horns and a tail—courtesy of a weird dream about some mysterious ancestor. Her mom drops a bombshell: their family descends from a Dark Clan that got cursed and stripped of their powers by magical girls from the rival Light Clan centuries ago. To break the curse and restore their family's fortune, Yuuko needs to kill a magical girl and use her blood to awaken some Demon God statue. Then a magical girl saves her from getting hit by a truck. Plot twist: it's Momo Chiyoda, Yuuko's classmate. And Momo is way stronger than her. Feeling sorry for this pathetic demon girl, Momo agrees to train her and help unlock her powers instead of, you know, fighting her. Now Yuuko's stuck in this awkward situation where she has to get strong enough to defeat her only ally if she wants to save her family from poverty.
