Synopsis

Kaname Chidori and Sousuke Sagara are just trying to enjoy high school like normal students—well, as normal as a loud girl and a military operative can be. But their peace gets shattered when the terrorist group Amalgam shows up looking for trouble. Specifically, they're after Kaname, since she's a "Whispered"—someone with valuable intel that Leonard Testarossa and his crew desperately want. What starts as danger lurking in their own backyard quickly escalates into a globe-trotting fight for survival. Sousuke finds himself gathering intelligence across the world, from the jungles of Laos to the desolate Mexican coast, all while trying to dismantle Amalgam from the inside. Meanwhile, Kaname's powers keep developing, but the constant pressure and stress wear her down. Trapped in an endless cat-and-mouse game full of schemes and double-crosses, the two of them have to learn how to truly work together and push past their own limitations if they want to make it out alive.
