Synopsis

Sousuke Sagara, a battle-hardened soldier, gets stationed at Jindai High School with one mission: protect Kaname Chidori, a strategic military asset. The problem? He has no idea how to act like a normal teenager. His solution to every problem is to pull out a weapon, which—predictably—turns the peaceful school into a constant disaster zone. Meanwhile, Kaname's juggling her vice president duties while desperately trying to keep Sousuke from getting them both expelled or killed. Things get weirder when Sousuke occasionally has to go undercover in a Bonta-kun costume (think mascot suit from a theme park). Being Sousuke, he can't just wear it normally. He upgrades the whole thing into a high-tech exoskeleton. The only catch? The voice modulator is broken and only makes one sound: "mofu." Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu follows these two as they stumble through high school, trying their best to have normal lives while leaving chaos in their wake.
