Synopsis

Aiko grew up in a shrine with a half-painted sliding door—something she used to dream about finishing as a kid. Now seventeen, though, she's lost that spark. She has no real ambitions for her future. Then some mysterious guy shows up out of nowhere. Her grandfather, who's the shrine's head priest, immediately welcomes him and offers him a place to stay. Aiko's not thrilled about it at first. But as time goes on, she realizes there's more to this gruff stranger than meets the eye. She finds herself slowly warming up to him. The big question is: who is he really?
