Synopsis

Hane Sakura's daily commute to school means cycling up a steep hill, but everything changes when she meets Onsa Amano, a motorcycle enthusiast who introduces her to the school's motorcycle club. The club is run by Raimu Kawasaki, who barely speaks. Sakura's never really ridden before, so it's a rough learning curve—but that's kind of the point. She's chasing that first rush she felt from biking years ago, that mix of fear and pure adrenaline she wants to feel again. She's got a solid crew backing her up: Baita, a motorcycle that can actually talk; Rin Suzunoki, who's obsessed with Suzuki bikes; Hijiri Minowa, a rich girl with dreams of being a delinquent; and Chisame Nakano, a professional racer. Together they're working toward getting Sakura her license and discovering what motorcycles are really all about—both the fun and the pain.
