In 2119, the spaceship Green Sleeves discovered three planets destroyed by X23, a rogue planet on a collision course with Earth. The government ordered an immediate attack, but Captain Dr. Sugita refused—he believed coexistence was possible. Then contact with Green Sleeves was lost without explanation. Two years later in 2121, Susumu, Dr. Sugita's son, is recruited by strangers and brought to Dr. Miya, one of the few people who still supported his father's stance. Most had branded the captain a traitor. Dr. Miya suggests Susumu join White Pegasus, an elite medical rescue team equipped with a Micronizer System that shrinks operatives small enough to work inside a patient's body. X23 finally appears on the horizon. The Hues—X23's alien inhabitants—target Susumu's friend first. Susumu and his White Pegasus team manage to eliminate the threat from within. But as the battle ends, Susumu realizes something impossible: the signals coming from the Hues' implants are playing music. Music he and his mother composed as a gift for his father.
