Synopsis

After Miharu's troubles piloting the Comet Blasters, CEMA decides it can't keep relying solely on human pilots for interception work. They dust off an old unmanned shuttle program to test it out as an alternative. Back on Shimoji Island, Mikaze and her friends are taking their pilot licensing exam just as a fresh crop of recruits shows up at the base. Things escalate fast when one of the orbital stations starts falling apart, triggering an emergency rescue op. As CEMA scrambles to figure out how to handle the disaster, the real truth behind the comets finally starts coming to light.
