Synopsis

In an alternate post-WWII Japan, terrorism and civil chaos plague the war-torn nation under foreign occupation. Counter-terrorism officer Kazuki Fuse gets a brutal wake-up call during a botched raid on underground weapons when he fails to stop a teenage girl from detonating a suicide bomb that devastates Tokyo. Traumatized and now doubted by his superiors, Fuse is pulled from active duty and sent back to military academy for evaluation. But his troubles are just beginning—he's about to stumble into government conspiracies that will shape Japan's entire future. As Fuse navigates the murky space between humanity and something darker, he'll have to figure out where he really stands.
