Synopsis

Brave 10 Isanami, a young priestess at an Izumo shrine, watches helplessly as ninja attackers burn the temple and kill everyone inside. She manages to escape into the forest, where she runs into Saizou, a wandering ninja from the Iga clan. Together they head to Ueda Castle to seek aid from the warlord Yukimura Sanada. It turns out Isanami carries a mysterious and powerful ability—one that immediately catches Sanada's interest. He agrees to help her and assembles a group of ten talented warriors to fight under his command. The story kicks off during Japan's Warring States period, following Saizou and Isanami as they travel across the war-torn countryside recruiting these skilled fighters. It's a dangerous journey though. Plenty of people are after Isanami's dark power, wanting to claim it for themselves, and the group has to stay one step ahead while building their force.
