Synopsis

Ayayam is a talented hamster who was basically good at everything as a kid—school, sports, drawing, writing, you name it. But one day she overhears her friends trashing a picture book she loved and had lent to one of them. She's so hurt that she swears off friendship entirely, locks herself in the library, and doesn't leave for years. The God of Books takes pity on her and gives her a Magic Quill that lets her create any picture or story without effort. Meanwhile, Hamtaro finds out that Laura's school is putting on a play called "Sunflower Taro," so he and his friends decide to stage their own version. While they're rehearsing, they all get pulled into a strange Picture Book Tower where Ayayam tells them they're going to star in her latest book—her own twist on the classic "Sunflower Taro" fairy tale. With the Ham-Hams involved, things are bound to get interesting fast.
