Duel Masters Victory is the 7th season of the Duel Masters anime. It picks up where Duel Masters Versus left off and follows the events of the Star Cross manga instead of Cross Shock. The season introduces Katta Kirifuda, Shobu's younger brother, as the new protagonist. Like his brother, Katta dreams of becoming a champion duelist—he's just determined to do it on his own terms. The story follows him and his crew of friends—Bucyake, Yohdel, and Benchan—as they kick off their dueling journey together. Along the way, Katta develops a fierce rivalry with Dragon Ryu, who he sees as a serious threat. On top of Katta's personal story, the season also explores the larger conflict brewing between two races: the Hunters and the Aliens.
