Synopsis

Teru moves to Okinawa from Tokyo and quickly develops feelings for Hina, an outgoing classmate who takes him under her wing at school. There's just one problem—Hina's heavy local dialect makes it nearly impossible for him to understand half of what she says. That doesn't stop her from enthusiastically telling him all about Okinawan culture though. Enter Kana, Hina's best friend, who offers to translate and teach Teru some useful local phrases. Convenient timing, except Kana has an ulterior motive—she's got a crush on him and sees this as her chance to get closer. As the three of them hang out more, none of them are fully aware of how the others feel. Meanwhile, Teru's settling into his new life and genuinely enjoying being around both of them.
