Towns themselves are built and maintained by the weakest role of all—Villagers. For villagers, hunting monsters is basically a death sentence. They're powerless, defenseless, and have no business being out there. But everything changes when a two-year-old child is born with the Villager role and stumbles onto a simple truth: defeat a monster, and you get paid. Really well.
