Synopsis

Desir Herrman spent a decade fighting his way through the Shadow Labyrinth, a spreading blight of dark magic threatening to consume the world. After finally defeating Boromir Napolitan, the dragon of destruction, the mana released from its body detonates in a cataclysmic explosion that wipes out civilization. But Desir doesn't die. Instead, he's sent back ten years with all his memories intact. Now he's got a second chance, and he knows exactly what he needs to fix: the rigid class system dividing the magical world, which ultimately leads to humanity's downfall. His first obstacle comes almost immediately when he enrolls at Hebrion Academy. Despite scoring first in his entrance exam, he gets sorted into Beta Class—the default track for commoners—due to the academy's class-based prejudice. Desir's plan is straightforward: first, recruit Romantica Eru, the wind mage he couldn't save before. Then prove himself and his new party are strong enough to earn respect from the elite Alpha Class. If he can pull this off, he might actually be able to save the people he lost the first time around.
