Synopsis

The Mutou family is just living their ordinary life—dad Kouichirou at work on a construction site, mom Mari coming back from a trip overseas, their daughter Ayumu wrapping up track practice, and their son Gou killing time with video games at home. Then a massive earthquake hits Japan and devastates the entire country in seconds, changing everything. As society falls apart and Japan literally starts sinking into the ocean, the family has to stick together to survive. They're not just fighting to stay alive in this apocalyptic nightmare—they're also learning how to deal with loss along the way.
