Synopsis

Genjo Sanzo and the gang are used to getting jumped by demons, so running into human attackers throws them for a loop. Things get weirder when they meet Hazel Grouse, a wandering priest from the West, along with his intimidating bodyguard Gaty Nene Hawk. Hazel's got resurrection powers and uses them to help grieving villages—sounds noble enough, right? Except there's a catch. Everyone he brings back ends up with these distinctive golden eyes, which is exactly what their recent human attackers had. Turns out the helpful priest might not be quite as charitable as he seems, and Sanzo's crew is about to find out what he's really after.
