Two eccentric scientists, Professor Hiiragi and Count Collection, both manage to tear open a gateway to the Sixgate world—an alternate dimension where myths and monsters are real. Professor Hiiragi brings his daughter Rokuna and her friend Mondo into the fight, forming the Mon Colle Knights to hunt down six magical artifacts before Count Collection can get his hands on them. These items are no joke either—when combined, they can manipulate the barriers between worlds. Depending on who's wielding them, that could mean anything from peacefully merging the magic of the Sixgate world with ours, to mind-controlling every monster in existence, or completely rewriting reality itself.
