Synopsis

Kasumi and Poppin'Party are now second-year students, dealing with all the usual stuff that comes with it—student council work, cram school, part-time jobs. The problem is they're in different classes now, which means way less time to hang out together. What used to feel like endless fun suddenly seems impossible when nobody can even make it to Arisa's basement for band practice. Just when they're stuck feeling down about it, some mysterious girl shows up and unexpectedly thrusts them back into the spotlight. This is the golden age of girl bands, and Poppin'Party isn't alone anymore. Afterglow, Pastel*Palettes, Roselia, and Hello, Happy World! are all coming onto the scene now, each with their own distinct personality and style. As Poppin'Party gets back into things and meets these new bands, the music starts playing again—and it's better than ever.
