Synopsis

Set in a futuristic Onomichi, Hiroshima, the world's oceans have lost all fish populations—now only whales remain. In response, the Ministry of Fishery launches massive experimental fish tanks into space to restore fishing as an industry. To manage these orbital operations, the Onomichi Universe Fishery Union is formed to recruit and train space fishermen. Because of new gender equality laws, female fishermen suddenly become highly valued in the workforce. The story follows six newly recruited female space fishermen as they train and develop into skilled operators.
