TRIGGER and IDOLiSH7 On a freezing night, the idol group TRIGGER gathers at a bar to commemorate when they first started working together. Rewind two years: Ryuunosuke Tsunashi leaves Okinawa for Tokyo, desperate to become an idol and pay off his father's debt. When his manager doesn't show up, he gets picked up by Gaku Yaotome instead—the CEO's son and soon-to-be bandmate—who takes him to meet Ten Kujou, the group's mysterious third member. Gaku's skeptical about Ten being the center, so he wants to call him out on it. But with Ryuunosuke's intervention, the three actually click, and TRIGGER officially forms. Of course, they've still got plenty of hurdles to clear before they make it big. Flash forward to now. Their rival group IDOLiSH7 are dealing with their own issues—figuring out how to spend their rare days off, hashing out lingering conflicts, the usual stuff. But they're determined to stick together and push through it all.
