Synopsis

Joe Shimamura and his fellow cyborgs face off against the Bresudo—a shadowy group of superhuman beings with incredible intellect who've allegedly been pulling the strings of human history since ancient times. Nobody really knows what they want, and most people don't even believe they exist. An American journalist named Lucie Davenport travels to Texas trying to contact a specific family, and that's where she crosses paths with the cyborgs. By this point, the cyborgs have been retired from their old job protecting humanity, thanks to the newly formed UN Guardian troops. They've settled into peaceful, quiet lives—at least until things get complicated.
