Synopsis

Ainz Ooal Gown, the undead sorcerer who was once just a regular player named Momonga, has settled into this strange new world. It reminds him of Yggdrasil, the virtual reality game he loved, but it's full of unknowns he's determined to figure out. He's got the power of the Great Tomb of Nazarick backing him up, but lately he's been on edge. One of his subordinates got brainwashed, which spooked him about the threat posed by the Slane Theocracy and the possibility that other former Yggdrasil players might be out there too. Meanwhile, Albedo, Demiurge, and Ainz's other loyal guardians are gearing up for something bigger: Nazarick's first actual war. Overlord II picks up right where the first season left off, following Ainz and his crew of human-despising guardians as they continue to wreak havoc on the poor humans caught in their path.
