Ino Sakura just moved to Tokyo to join Fruit Tart, a brand-new idol group. Besides her, there's Roko Sekino (a former child actor), Hayu Nukui (a failed musician), and Nina Maehara (a model waiting for her big break). They move into their dorm, the Mouse House, ready to start fresh—but things go downhill fast. Turns out Fruit Tart is already a hundred million yen in debt before they've even debuted. It's do or die. If they can't pay it back, the group dissolves and the Mouse House gets demolished. So the four of them have to claw their way up from nothing, building a fanbase and writing their own material. The good news? An established idol named Hemo Midori is apparently a huge Sakura fan and decides to join them. Now it's five girls grinding away, trying to make it big while keeping things fun and keeping their spirits up.
