Synopsis

Izuminokami Kanesada and Horikawa Kunihiro are swords brought to life—specifically, they're manifestations of blades that belonged to the legendary samurai Toshizou Hijikata. In 1863, they're sent back from the future to Edo with a mission: stop the Retrograde Army from rewriting history. They team up with other sword warriors and spend the Bakumatsu period fighting off these invaders, trying to keep the timeline intact. It's brutal work, though. The era they're protecting is one they're deeply connected to, and as the Retrograde Army keeps pushing back, the two of them face impossible choices. Betrayals pile up, blood is shed, and everything they care about gets dragged into the conflict.
