Synopsis

In an alternate early 1900s where steam technology dominates instead of electricity, Kyoto is perpetually shrouded in smoke. A boy whose brother's death left him bitter and withdrawn had once shared a dream of an "Age of Electricity" with him—a future now seemingly out of reach. A devout girl carries deep grief over her mother's passing, keeping her hopes and regrets locked away. When they meet, the two become fascinated by a mysterious 20th Century Electrical Catalog that offers them a tantalizing vision of the world they've always wanted. To move forward together, they'll have to come to terms with what they've lost and figure out whether that dream is really possible after all.
