Synopsis

Kurumi Mirai's been dreaming of becoming a magician since she was a kid. She put in years of work to earn a spot at Rettoran Academy of Magic, and she absolutely nailed the entrance exam. But then the rejection came—she didn't make it into the elite class, and her whole dream felt like it was falling apart. Instead of giving up, though, Kurumi ends up in the standard class where she meets Maki Kumiiru, her roommate, and Yuzu Edel, another girl who's frustrated about not getting into the advanced track either. Just when things seem bleak, something unexpected happens: their homeroom teacher, Minami Suzuki, tells the class that she'll teach them magic herself. At first the girls aren't sure what to make of it, but gradually they start to think—maybe this is their chance to turn things around after all. Maybe they can still become real magicians.
