Synopsis

Hana Haruyama fell in love with storytelling as a kid. After seeing another child her age perform on TV with incredible skill, she decided to give it a shot herself. She started practicing by telling stories to the children on Tonaki Island, and they ate it up every time. Growing up in such a small place, though, Hana never really thought about what else was out there. She was happy with how things were. When she starts high school at Sumomogaoka, her natural talent catches the eye of Mizuki Usurai, the broadcasting club president. Hana's nervous about what might come next, but Mizuki manages to pull her into the club anyway—convinced that if she gets serious about developing her skills, she could eventually make it all the way to the nationals of the NHK Broadcasting Competition.
