Synopsis

Rakurou "Sunraku" Hizutome is obsessed with Shangri-La Frontier, a massively popular VR game. He's already made waves by taking down two of the game's seven legendary boss monsters—something most players would never even attempt. To push the story forward, he teams up with Emul, a rabbit-like NPC guide, and heads into an ancient workshop to grab a magic operation unit. His clanmates Arthur Pencilgon and OiKatzo help him cruise through the quest, but there's definitely something else going on with them. They've got their own reasons for tagging along. Still, Sunraku walks away with solid knowledge, useful allies, and momentum to keep climbing. As he hunts down tougher enemies and figures out how Shangri-La Frontier actually works under the hood, he's basically on track to completely reshape the game.
