Synopsis

Ichirou Kuga's life took a sharp turn after his father died—suddenly he's the sole provider for his two younger siblings. He keeps the lights on by renting out rooms in an inherited apartment building and working as a shoujo manga artist, though business isn't great. His sales are tanking, his assistants bailed, and deadlines are breathing down his neck. Just when things look bleakest, Shiori Goshiki shows up as his new assistant. She's talented and capable, exactly what he needs, and with her help the immediate crisis passes. But then something strange happens between them—a supernatural incident that leaves Shiori convinced they're engaged to be married. What started as a random accident spirals into something that completely disrupts Ichirou's carefully balanced life. Now he's juggling his relationship with this mysterious girl, his manga deadlines, his siblings' needs, and trying to hold onto his passion for his work. It's a lot.
