Synopsis

Fifteen-year-old Umika Konohoshi has been obsessed with aliens since she was little. She dreams of going to space and making friends with extraterrestrial life—which, unfortunately, has made her classmates think she's weird. The result is crippling social anxiety that keeps her isolated. But Umika can't shake the feeling that she's meant for something beyond Earth. On her first day of high school, Umika's luck seems to change when she meets Yuu Akeuchi, a new classmate who claims to have crash-landed on Earth with zero memories of her past. This could be it—her chance to finally connect with someone, maybe even an actual alien. Problem is, her anxiety gets in the way again. That's when Yuu does something unexpected: she uses a strange psychic ability to peer into Umika's mind, and somehow that act of connection becomes the start of a real friendship—one that might finally help Umika get closer to her dreams.
