Mahiru Shiina earned her "Angel" nickname fair and square—she's gorgeous, loved by everyone, and talented at basically everything. Her neighbor Amane Fujimiya lives in a completely different world, and despite being next door to each other, they've never actually talked. That changes when Fujimiya spots Shiina sitting alone on a swing in the pouring rain and offers her his umbrella. When he catches a cold the next day, Shiina wants to repay the favor by taking care of him. Fujimiya figures this'll be a one-time thing and just accepts her help quietly. But then Shiina notices his apartment is a mess and he's not eating right, so she keeps coming back to cook and clean for him. Spending all that time together in his place, the two of them start figuring out what they actually mean to each other—and what these growing feelings are really about.
