Synopsis

Takuya and Rika are introverted coworkers at a Tokyo travel agency who love their quiet, single lives. Takuya goes home to his cat; Rika pores over maps. But their peaceful routine gets disrupted when the company announces plans to open an Alaskan branch within a year—and they're sending an unmarried employee there. When they randomly run into each other on a day off, these two end up talking for the first time. Discovering they're both facing the same transfer threat, Rika has a wild idea: fake an engagement for 365 days to avoid the move. Takuya agrees. Neither realizes that pretending to be a couple might actually end up changing everything about the lives they're so desperate to keep.
