Synopsis

War erupted in Universal Century 0079 when Zeon broke away from the Earth Federation. At first, Zeon's new mobile suits gave them a serious edge, but they couldn't actually pull off a full invasion of Earth. The fighting dragged on to a stalemate. Eleven months in, the Federation manages to take a Zeon base in Eastern Europe. Zeon scrambles to get it back, dispatching a composite battalion that includes Solari and her Red Wolf Squadron—a mobile suit unit fresh from space.
