It's the year 130 of the Fuujin era—a time when magic and divine power still ruled the world. Two years back, Zenon Country crushed everyone else in the Old Fuujin Continent and took control. Now Zenon's got its sights on Randia, a smaller nation to the south. When an assassin targets the young prince Alfred, his childhood friend Welles steps in and saves him. That assassination attempt isn't random, though. Alfred's bloodline supposedly gives him the ability to unlock something called the "Seal of Power"—exactly the kind of threat that would make Zenon nervous enough to strike. Welles is just a regular soldier, but he and Alfred have been through enough battles together to earn themselves a reputation: the "Galloping Winds." Now, with war about to erupt again, the two of them are forced into the fight alongside Welles' younger sister Teefa. When a former loyalist named Rea hears the call and returns to the fold, more pieces start falling into place. As everyone gets pulled deeper into the conflict, the true nature of the seal—and what it really means to have the prince's blood—begins to come to light.
