Synopsis

Makura no Danshi is basically an ASMR comfort series where different boys chat with you like you're right there with them. Each short episode features a new character ready to listen and comfort you when you need it. The cast is pretty diverse. You've got Merry, a gentle brown-haired guy; Sousuke Tanaka, a mature working professional; Kanade Hanamine, a tough-acting high school student who's secretly scared of spiders; Eiji Kijinami, a sore loser with a punk aesthetic but a soft side; shy Ryuushi Theodore Emori, who loves stargazing; Yuu Maiki, an arrogant freshman; Haruto Enokawa, an energetic five-year-old who needs bedtime stories; Nao Sasayama, a college guy glued to his phone; Shirusu Mochizuki, a librarian who adores books and book lovers; siblings Yonaga and Yayoi Chigiri, who practice flower arrangement together; and Yuuichirou Iida, a funny old dude who runs an oden stall. The whole point is that no matter what's stressing you out, these guys will gently share about themselves and encourage you to open up about what's bothering you. They're all genuinely kind and will make you feel valued and cared for.
