Synopsis

This is the third theatrical film based on Shimajiro, the popular character from the children's TV series. Like the other movies, it blends an anime adventure with live-action segments featuring songs and interactive quizzes for the audience. The story kicks off when Shimajiro's sister has a mysterious dream where she senses an SOS from a "motherwood" tree—a giant tree that floats above the clouds. To help save it, Shimajiro and his friends board the airship Kibo no Gaogao and set off toward an island shrouded in magical fog, where the motherwood awaits.
