On her first day of high school, Eri Kumagai hears a girl singing and is completely mesmerized—until the girl steps on a cat's tail and ruins the moment. Later that same day, the same girl bursts into class late, carrying the cat and casually announcing that her real name is Haru Chitose, not the "Chiharu Yuzuka" on the roster. Unfortunately for Eri, she can't get away from Haru. They end up as roommates in the dorm, and Haru immediately starts causing problems left and right. Things get worse when Haru snoops through Eri's laptop and discovers she's an online composer. Eri's furious about the invasion of privacy, but Haru just becomes obsessed with the idea of singing together. Eri, however, wants nothing to do with it. Can these two find a way to work together, or are they just going to keep clashing?
