Synopsis

Takeshi Nakazato from the Myougi Night Kids witnesses Takumi's AE86 taking on Keisuke's RX7 and gets fired up enough to challenge the AE86 to a downhill race. His Nissan Skyline GT-R is objectively faster, but when someone tells him he'll never beat Takumi anyway, he becomes obsessed with proving them wrong. Nakazato's convinced that grip racing beats flashy drifting, and he's determined to use that advantage to come out on top. The problem is Itsuki accepted the match without asking Takumi first, and Takumi wants nothing to do with it. He keeps insisting he's not even a real racer. His boss eventually pressures him into changing his mind, but when Takumi heads home to grab the AE86, his dad's already got it out for a drive. While he waits around, though, Takumi starts feeling that familiar itch to race kick back in.
