Synopsis

The series consists of two separate stories that share a few characters. The first one, "Omoide no Kanata e," follows Shogo and his girlfriend Neo. Things get complicated when Shogo's ex-girlfriend Kanata suddenly reappears, forcing both Shogo and Neo to reconsider where they stand in their relationship. The second story, "Inori no Todoku Koro," centers on Inori and her boyfriend Isshu. They've always gone to the fireworks festival together since that's where they first got together—but this year Isshu can't make it due to work. Left to attend alone, Inori finds herself reflecting on their previous visits to the festival.
