Synopsis

Inari Fushimi is your typical shy, clumsy middle schooler—the kind of person who'd rather disappear than stand out. But she's got a good heart, and that matters more than she knows. One day, while taking a shortcut through a local shrine, she spots a fox pup drowning in the river and pulls it out without thinking twice. That act of kindness doesn't go unnoticed. Uka-sama, the shrine's goddess, is so grateful that she gives Inari a piece of her divine power. Now Inari can transform into anyone she wants just by shouting "Inari, konkon"—which could be exactly what she needs to finally confess her feelings to Kouji, the boy she's been crushing on. With this new ability and Kon, the fox spirit she rescued, Inari gets pulled deeper into the supernatural world. She bonds with Uka-sama, makes some unexpected friends, and gradually figures out that love—real love—doesn't always look the way you think it will.
