Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase
Freelance photographer Kouhei Morioka heads to a German castle to shoot paranormal photos for his friend Hiromi, who runs an occult magazine. Inside, he meets a young girl named Hazuki wearing cat ears and a white dress. She tries to seduce him, but it's a trap—she bites him and turns him into her vampire slave. Except the bite doesn't actually work on him. Frustrated, Hazuki decides to use him instead. With help from Kouhei's exorcist cousin Seiji, they escape the castle and its creepy butler Vigo. Hazuki bolts to Japan looking for her mother, but not before deciding Kouhei's apartment is the perfect place to crash. He's not thrilled about it, but she moves in anyway. Meanwhile, other vampires are hunting her down. Tsukuyomi: Moonphase mixes gothic atmosphere with genuine cuteness as two mismatched characters develop an unlikely bond while trying to stay ahead of a supernatural underworld.
