Synopsis

A year into using the rental girlfriend app, Kazuya and Chizuru are still seeing each other regularly. But Chizuru drops a bomb—she wants to quit and pursue acting instead. Kazuya's torn, but he decides to support her dream anyway. When he finally sees her perform in her first play, he's blown away. She's genuinely talented and owns the stage. He's convinced some big-name director in the audience will snatch her up on the spot. Except. that doesn't happen. After the show, Chizuru reveals the director went with someone else. She's devastated, blaming herself for not being good enough. Kazuya hates seeing her like this, so he makes a new plan: rent her every week and help support her financially while she builds her acting career. Things get complicated fast, though. Mami, Kazuya's ex, suddenly starts hanging around for reasons he can't figure out. Her presence messes with his head and makes him second-guess everything, including whether he can actually follow through on his promise to Chizuru.
