Synopsis

After beating Shiratorizawa, Karasuno finally makes it to nationals. While the team prepares, setter Kageyama gets invited to an elite All-Japan training camp, and middle blocker Tsukishima lands a spot at a rookie camp for first-years in Miyagi Prefecture. Hinata, on the other hand, doesn't get invited to anything—and he's not happy about it. Rather than sulk, though, he decides to crash Tsukishima's rookie camp. He doesn't make the team, but he manages to score a job as a ball boy. Instead of seeing it as a failure, Hinata treats it as his chance to level up. From the sidelines, he watches, learns, and figures out how to apply what he's seeing to his own game. With nationals closing in, Karasuno's players work to shore up their weaknesses and get sharper, all while chasing that championship trophy.
