Synopsis

Katrielle Layton runs the Layton Detective Agency, a business dedicated to solving bizarre mysteries for paying clients. She's the daughter of the famous archaeologist Hershel Layton, and she works alongside her assistant Noah and Sherl, a dog who can talk. Their caseload is pretty weird—cursed houses, demon-possessed dresses, zombie spouses, that sort of thing. But there's a bigger mystery driving Katrielle: her father disappeared, and nobody knows why. Starting the detective agency was really just her way of getting closer to the truth. As she works through increasingly strange cases, she gradually pieces together clues that might finally explain what happened to him.
