Vampires and humans—the Black Bloods and Red Bloods—once fought side by side against a common enemy. Ten years later, that alliance feels like ancient history. Jirou Mochizuki, a vampire war hero better known as the "Silver Blade," is traveling to the Special Zone with his younger brother Kotarou. It's supposed to be a refuge where both races coexist peacefully. That peace doesn't last long. Tensions flare between vampire immigrants and human residents, and things get messy fast. On top of that, an old enemy is making moves behind the scenes, pulling strings Jirou didn't see coming. He's going to need backup—specifically from Mimiko Katsuragi, a woman known as the "Compromiser"—and he'll have to tap into the strength of his own bloodline to protect the people he cares about.
