Submarine 707R
PKN, an international naval alliance created to maintain peace on the oceans, was attacked during its founding ceremony by USR—a mysterious organization bent on world conquest. Their advanced submarine, the UX, commanded by the ruthless Admiral Red, devastated the fleet. Only the aging Japanese submarine 707, piloted by Captain Hayami, managed to stop them, though at great cost. A year later, the newly built 707 II sets out to sea with a crew that includes three young trainees: Kenji, Goro, and Senta. PKN launches a powerful fleet centered around the Great Guardian, their newest American battleship. But USR's submarine U proves too formidable, crushing the fleet in battle. When the 707 arrives to help, Red recognizes his old rival and engages immediately. Forced to retreat, the 707 hides in a mountain valley—only for Red to trigger a massive mudslide to bury them. The submarine barely escapes into a crater, but discovers it's filled with fresh water that won't support the sub's weight. Trapped and sinking, the 707 faces a barrage of incoming torpedoes.
