Synopsis

When Kasumi was a kid camping under the stars, she heard something magical—a rhythm she calls the "Star Beat." It stuck with her ever since, and she's been chasing that feeling ever since. Now starting high school at Hanasakigawa Girls', Kasumi's desperate to find it again. She tries joining different clubs, considers getting a job, but nothing clicks. Then she stumbles onto a star-shaped guitar in a pawn shop's storage room. One thing leads to another, and she ends up at a live house watching a band perform. The energy hits different—suddenly she's decided to start her own band, even though she can't really explain why. What follows is figuring out how to actually make it happen. She'll meet new friends along the way and face plenty of obstacles, but she's determined to chase down that heart-pounding thrill she's been looking for her whole life.
